Exploratory World Cultures B with Denise Ardittidarditti@currituck.k12.nc.us 435-2839 ex.2500 Dear Parent or Guardian and Student, Welcome to Exploratory World Cultures B, a class where you will explore the world and record your findings in your notebook. We will record our most important human rights facts about countries and people all over the world. During our travels, we will learn bits of language, history and culture in order to better understand our own culture as Americans. There will often be a vocabulary and fact quiz on Thursdays and a test on Fridays. The quizzes and test will only cover the material introduced during that week. A quiz score will be awarded weekly for classroom decorum. Students will have a mid-term and a final drawn from the activities /assessments of the semester. Grades: 15% Vocab and Topic Quizzes, 25% Tests, 30% Participation, 30% Notebook and Presentations
