It is essential for the Research Community to work with criminal justice system leaders to engage in broad based discussions to understand the needs of the CJS.
To propel criminal justice and law enforcement into the 21st Century, there must be greater application of technology to the basic functions of the justice system which requires a greater level of cooperation between all levels of government, private industry and the Research Community.
