Cabin System • Current Status: • Completing interior Mock-up • Includes panel, center console, and seats • Next Steps: • Spatial Integration • Interior Mock-up and cardboard models will be used to ensure the Panel/Center Console, Seat/Side Walls, and Overhead areas are usable and sensibly located. • Test Spatial Integration • Get feedback from pilot(s) who use the Interior Mock-up to run through scenarios/procedures • Industrial Design and Manufacturing Methods • Decide on types of materials, such as carpet, fabric and paint that will be used in the interior. Decide on manufacturing methods needed to install materials. • Choose the color scheme and general aesthetics, such as how accent colors will be used. • Detail Part Definition • Design the usable interior and mock up with foam or other prototyping materials.
