  3. Acts 1:8 • But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."

  4. John 7:38-39 • He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water." • But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

John 14:16-18 • And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever; the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.

  13. A PERSEVERANCE IN PRAYER • Acts 2:2;And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. • “SUDDENLY” DOES NOT ALWAYS • MEAN “IMMEDIATELY”

  15. A PERSEVERANCE IN PRAYER • Your “suddenly” may not be “immediately,” but it will come “eventually!” • LUKE 11:9-13 • If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!"

  16. AN EXPECTATION OF FAITH • Act 2:3; Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. • God has a “tongue of fire” for you!

  17. AN AVAILABILITY OF YOUR WILL • Act 2:4; And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. • The Baptism in the Holy Spirit is only for those who COOPERATE with the Holy Spirit and make themselves available!

  18. AN AVAILABILITY OF YOUR WILL • Jer 29:13; And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart • Jer. 33:3; Call to me and I will answer you and show you great & mighty things. • Psalm 22:3; God inhabits the praises of His people
