  2. POWER WORDS! Cubic meters- About half of a bathtub! K.g- kilo grams Is it affecting us? Is it affecting us? The waste of water can communicate with many things, but I will only use a few. Now, The waste of water is very serious. At the rate of the increase of the population of humans, most people will be in stress for water by the coming 2050! Can you believe that? However, you are part of the problem. I’m not throwing anyone under the bus, but the average person uses an average of two thousand four hundred eight three cubic meters of water a year. That’s about 1,241 bathtubs of water! How is this possible? The answer is simple- and delicious! It is food. One kg of chocolate is 24,000 liters! A kg of beef is 15,000 liters! A kg of olives is 4,400 liters! To make matters worse for water, only a hundredth of all the water on earth is ready, available freshwater. The rest is frozen and salty! They have found a way to create drinking water out of it! When you boil saltwater, you can drink the water that evaporates. Boiling it also gets rid of all filth such as bacteria and other pollution. Pollution is caused by many things, such as oil spills and fertilizer! Both of these are bad for the environment, but the worst is probably the oil spills because they can kill so many animals in one go! You can make a difference. Here are some ways; 1. 5. Chain Catastrophe Yes, part of the sentence the sky is falling down! Is true. Only that the word sky should be food chain. From pollution, sea life is dying. Without sea life, firstly scuba diving would be so much less interesting, and secondly the food chain would be in danger. The food chain is literally like a chain. If one link breaks, the whole thing falls apart. However, the most vital parts to it are the smallest of the small- zooplankton and phytoplankton. They rest at the bottom of the chain, and could spell catastrophe for everyone and everything if they were affected negatively by pollution. Also, If we poison the fish, we poison ourselves when we eat them. Pesticides also poison fish, and that is no surprise. Is it affecting us? Salt to fresh- is it Possible?
