Important People Franklin D. Roosevelt was the president in WWII he made a 100,000 Japanese Americans to be sent to Internment Camp because he thought they would try to attack America with Japan. Children stepped up to help by raising money and growing food in Victory Gardens.
Important EventsImportant Info In September,1942, 4,000 students gathered in Washington to hear Secretary of the Treasury Henry Morgenthau, Jr. call for their help. Writers and authors expressed the country’s feelings about this huge event. Many were about the war. Propaganda would convince people to take part in a specific action.
