Large males may stand more than eight feet tall at the shoulders and weigh 2,000 pounds! The largest deer is the North American moose. Boy you’re big Dad!
Most deer only have spots when they are young. Their white spots make them hard to see in the tall grasses, where they usually hide. Deer can see in every direction except right behind them. They may not see objects as clearly as we do, but they are very good at detecting movement. And that is all they need to see in order to escape from danger.
