  2. Why was she famous for? Jessica Watson was famous for sailing around the world solo at the age of 16, she was the youngest girl to travel by herself. On the 25th of january she was named and awarded youngest australian of the year .

  3. What motivated her & what did she get out of achieving this goal? Jessica Watson was inspired by Kay Cottee because she was the first girl to sail around the world solo. She got to achieve travelling the sea on her own, with her own experience. This achievement made her become famous around the world

  4. The risk and Dangerous ? Jessica Watson faced very high winds and massive waves when she only a few hundred miles from south America. If anything did go wrong she could of lost her life.

  6. Would this be an experience for me? Yes , I would because I like travelling and outdoors but I don't think I could do it myself, as my a bit afraid of boats.

  7. What Equipment did she take? The equipment that Jessica Watson took with her was , mostly food and water, clothing,safteyequiement for her or the baot, she took ella her boat, Laptop (internet) and camera.

  8. How long did her journey take? Jessica Watson departed sydeny on 18thoctber 2009 and returned to sydney on the 15th of may 2010, (3 days before her seventeen birthday.) Her journey took 8 month but her preparation took 10 months.

  9. What preparation did she have? Jessica Watson had to prepare for her trip around the world, she had to prepare her map of the direction she was going to head. The boat, Ella Pink Lady which was sailed by Jessica made by Sparkman and Stephan both 39 of age, she was sponced by Ella Bache Paris , one hd Hachette Australian and news limited.

  10. About Jessica Watson ? Jessica Watson , born 18th of may 1993, on the Gold Coast, she now lives in Buderim Queensland ,Australia. She had many other interested which are anything outdoors,( camping, swimming[beach], reading , cooking and boat designing
