What is palm oil and why is it bad? Palm oil is oil from palm trees, to get palm oil we have to cut down large palm trees. If we have to cut down forests lots of animals such as orang-utans and tigers will loose their habitat. This could lead to extinction to these animals. Every year a large amount of orang-utans die from humans enjoying the comfort of palm oil.

Palm oil must go in the office and staff rooms!! We were astonished to see that the office and staff rooms have about five products that have palm oil in them. The biscuits that have palm oil are: Arnott's cream, savoys, jatzand saladas.
Foods that will replace palm oil products in the office!! • Pop corn thins[real foods] • Butter biscuits [ Park Wood] • sweet and savoury biscuits [snowy mountain]
Why would these foods be better for the staff room? • Popcorn thins would replace saladas, Popcorn thins are healthy and yummy, they don’t have palm oil in them. • Snowy mountain biscuits can replace sweet and savoury biscuits, snowy mountain has a wide range of yummy biscuits. The biscuits are quite expensive, but you can get a bulk refill which would cost $19.95 for twenty biscuits.
