  7. What did we do? • Worked in Forest of Bowland • Monitored catchment flows • Nested multi-scale approach • Two year monitoring period • Project record • Initial analysis

  8. Problems? • Short monitoring period • Equipment theft • Remote area

  9. What did we find? • Land use had little impact • Different between events But, it’s just one case study

  10. Why did we get these results? • Land use has no effect? • Monitoring period? • Catchment choice? • Configuration of measures? • Measures need to mature?

  11. What else did we find? • Multi-scale approach worked • Good to work with modellers • Project record for audit
