Timeline Faculty, student and staff workshops, research, and training (Fall 2010 –ongoing) Nomination of QEP Lead Evaluator (by January 15, 2011) Submission of QEP and Focused Report, if necessary (by January15, 2011) SACS On-site Visit (March 2-4, 2011) QEP Pilot and baseline data collection (Spring 2011 and Fall 2011) Implementation of QEP following reaffirmation (Spring 2012) Submission of the QEP Impact Report (2017) - (as per Dr. Rudolph Jackson who conducted a SACSCOC advisory visit with us on July 12-14) • Orientation of SACS Leadership Team in Atlanta, Georgia (June 14, 2009) • Broad-based QEP topic selection and refinement (Fall 2009 through Spring 2010) • Submission of the QEP Abstract reflecting topic, goals, and assessments (End of April to  early May 2010) • Advisory visit by SACS representatives (July 2010)

  4. What is the QEP? The QEP, or the Quality Enhancement Plan, is a focused plan that engages the entire SUNO community on addressing a well-defined topic that contributes to institutional improvement through strengthening student learning. The five-year plan must be based on the scholarship and research around best educational practices, with clear outcomes for student learning and assessment. The plan will include resources for implementation; implementation of our QEP will begin fall 2011.
