How we do it (weekly LEAD sessions) • one professor, one GTA, one PLA • Three different times a week • Groups with 3 (maximum 4) students • Work at board • Work on problems we give them • Some students work on homework • Attendance taken
How we do it (LEAD review sessions) • three professors, three GTAs, three PLAs • One time during exam weeks • Work at seat • Problems are projected on screen • Solutions are not shown
How we motivate them to attend • Syllabus • Flyer • Announcements in class • E-mails • Cookies
This semester, Professors Akin, Bohner, and Roe are operating the In G4/G5 of the Rolla Building (basement) Everybody is welcome to participate!! During exam weeks all three Learning Centers will operatein Schrenk-G3 on Tuesday, 7-9 pm (Sep 6, Sep 27, Nov 1, Nov 29)
