Overview: What others do actually is Vacuum, clean or sweep with a gently moist mop but do not use bleach-based detergents, since they will leave a dark stain on the surface and prevent over-wetting. Nor use a wax polish, the floor gets too slick. Use a dilute solution of water and vinegar to wash traces and stains.

  3. How do we clean hardwood floors? We start with cleaning the floors or vacuum them. Then prepare a washing solution of 4 cups of warm water and a few drops of castile soap or liquid soap. Don’t shake, just blend this gently; mop or scrub little bits at a time, then dry with a clean cloth or a dry mop.
