What NOT to do DON’T USE TOO MUCH INFO ON YOUR SLIDES DON’T GO CRAZY ON THE ANIMATIONS The Seven Deadly Sins of Camerawork • Backlighting- Positioning a strong light source directly behind talent. • Headhunting- A close up shot, showing only talents head • Upstanding- An extreme high angle shot of talent • Jogging: Excessive camera shaking while moving • Motorzooming- Excessive zooming in and out • Snapshooting- Excessive cutting without rhythm or specific purpose • Firehosing- Irrational and Jerky camera movement. BOOM GOES THE DYNAMITE
