Writers think of events or things that happen • in their lives – happy times, sad times, scary • times, holidays, family times, exciting times, • etc.
3. They think of places where things happen – • home, school, church, aftercare, vacations, sports, activities (gymnastics, baseball, bowling, etc.).
Writers keep a “brainstorm list” of things they could write about. *Vacation small moments - airplane ride - skiing - dinner at grandma’s - cousin’s house - building a snowman - snow angels - grandma’s false teeth (hee hee)
Writers, I hope you’ve been thinking of all the things YOU could write about. Today, we will “start” our lists … and we’ll just keep adding to that list so that we always have good ideas to write about.
