  2. ¡Hola, y benvenidos a la granja del preterito! Soy el gallo de la granja y voy a sertuguíamientrasexploramos el preterito, un tiempopasado en español. Primero, empezamos con algunainformacion general sobre el preterito.

  3. 1. ¿Quésignifica el preterito? • The preterit talks about the PAST. • Preterit verbs are generally actions that have already been COMPLETED. • 2. ¿Comóhacemos el preterito? • Just like with the present tense, we use sets of ENDINGS to form the preterit tense. • For all regular PRETERIT verbs, there are accent marks over the YO and El/ELLA/UD form. • The –ER and –IR verbs conjugate with the SAME endings, while –AR verbs have their own set. • There are many IRREGULARS in the preterit, which we will learn later.
