  3. Used to treat ADD (attention deficit disorder), ADHD (attention deficit hyperactive disorder), and narcolepsy (a sleeping disorder) • Helps keep you focused and (in the case of narcolepsy) awake What does it do?

  4. Ritalin works in a similar manner as cocaine by being a CNS stimulant! They both block a dopamine transporter protein, increasing dopamine levels! • 30-50% of adolescents in drug treatment centers report abusing Ritalin. • Because it is taken as a pill, it takes longer to reach the brain, however, if abused, it can still be addictive. Ritalin Cocaine Controversy!?!
