  3. How it works We created an App that takes the contents of the Formulary and New Medicines then formats it for the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. It can do this two ways. LIVE when connected to If you are connected to Wi-Fi the App will display information directly from the Formulary website. Cached The App can download all the pages from the Formulary and New Medicines and store them on the device for viewing when NO Wi-Fi Internet connection is available.

  5. Cache is King To get the most from the App it is important to Cache the site. This not only gives the user the ability to use the App without a Wi-Fi internet connection but allows searching of all the Formulary and New Medicines pages. 1 2 3 Wait for Caching to finish Tap Renew Cache Check you are in Tayside Tap Config

  6. What can it do? Searching You can now search the Formulary and New Medicines Tap the magnifying glass Type in the search string The page will appear with the search string highlighted Scroll to find the document You want to view then tap it Tap Tayside Area Formulary Tap Search

  7. What can it do? Searching History Tap Tayside Area Formulary Tap the magnifying glass Tap the magnifying glass and book Scroll to the word you have previously entered and tap it

  10. What can it do? Viewing options Copy Cat When the blue markers appear let go then tap Copy Press and hold anywhere along the text line
