Focus & Aims…. Your role ? How people can work more effectively together across disciplines ? A chance to think about what HIMP really is ? Network Addressing particular topic / priority areas Addresses the challenges of theory, evidence & practice
Cont…. • Re launch as a ‘learning network’ • Concentrate on HIMP and Tayside priorities • Build into looking at each priority a presentation on theory & evidence with colleagues from education • Then focus on taking this forward in practice, discuss implementation & exploring key questions • PHPs take forward in local networks • Feeding in, out & up ……..

Membership • Multidisciplinary across nursing and all associated disciplines, primary & secondary care • LA via HIMP posts / officers , Vol. Orgs, CHCs
Focus • Based on extensive consultation & discussion • Seminar results Focusing on priorities not professions Evidence, responses, action & support • Today = First meeting • Looking at what HIMP is, roles, priorities & some of the evidence around effectiveness
