Terminology “Deferred Pay” = Spreading the contract pay over even payments regardless of when it is earned. “Escrow Balance” - The difference between earned vs paid at any point in the contract year “Total Contract Value” (“TCV”) the sum of all anticipated earnings per contract for fiscal year. Days per year x hours per day x hourly rate

New Procedure on how to process Mid-Year Changes 1. Add a record with the new effective date or FIX the record if incorrect. 2. Change the PCN, FTE, index key or distribution and SAVE and SEND FOR EXAMPLE: Employee changes from .50 to .90 effective 9/17/2009 7days x 3.75 hours per day x 25.88361 = 679.44 174 days x 7.50 hour per day x 25.88361 = 30400.30 ========= 31,079.74 / 12 = 2589.98
With new contracts, the old assignment is available and recalculated.
If the Pay Assignment was “fixed” or changed, then the NewRetro Utility will automatically correct the retro pay and retro earned
Run Retro Utility (PYUTRTRP) calculates the difference in earnings and pay and generates a timecard record
Retro Earned and Pay is automatically added to the “Retro” timecard batch and included in the employee’s pay history.
