  4. Task. The main figure of speech used here is a METAPHOR: a term or phrase is applied to something to which it is not literally applicable in order to suggest a resemblance. This song is saying “you are a firework.” Obviously you are not literally! But think what is the song saying you are like or should be like. What are you? What METAPHOR would you apply to yourself. Choose a ‘thing’. Find a picture or draw it. Underneath, explain why you are this ‘thing’ e.g. Mrs. Almey is a swan, serene on top and paddling like crazy underneath! Your explanation can be better and longer!
