  2. Early Life • Born January 8, 1949, in St. Veit, Austria • He was born to Maria Worth and a butcher, who abandoned her before their child's birth • In 1956, Maria married Josef Puck, who adopted Puck • The marriage produced another son and two daughters.

  3. Education • As a teenager, Puck went to culinary school in Austria • He later moved to France, where he apprenticed at L’Ousteaude Baumaniere

  4. Restaurants • Puck opened Spago in in West Hollywood in 1982 • Chinois was launched in 1983 in Santa Monica • Postrio was opened in 1989 in San Francisco

  5. Family • Puck was married to Marie France Trouillotfrom 1975 to 1980. • In 1983, Puck married Barbara Lazaroff. They divorced 20 years later. • Puck is now married to GelilaAssefa. • Puck has four sons, Cameron, Byron, Oliver Wolfgang, and Alexander.

  6. Interesting Facts • Puck’s real name is Wolfgang Johannes Topfschnig • Puck appeared on several scripted series including Frasier and Who’s the Boss. • He has cooked for the Governor's Ball post-Academy Awards party since 1995.
