This basically helps people to meet like-minded people, by building interpersonal relationships. The major disadvantage of the gated community is the price factor. Facilities like gymnasium, swimming pool, sports fields, health centers, come at a premium and adds the living cost. Some of the gated communities are generally situated away from the business centers to give a peaceful environment. Thus, commuting may actually become difficult. The biggest advantage of the stand-alone buildings is that these can develop within the city owing to the smaller land area that is needed.
