  1. Proactive Preparation for powerpoint, 5th Grade State reports Let’s be ready to go! The state reports can take a while to put together, so the more prepared you are in advance, the more relaxed, confident and creative you can be when you are building your State Report PowerPoint.

  2. Each slide will need to have the Following information: • Title (Maps, Weather, Flower, etc.) • Pictures and Information relating to subject State Flower TITLE PICTURE INFORMATION

  3. Typing on your slide *To Type on your slide, click on the “Insert” tab and then click “Text Box” click onYour slide and start typing. *OR, you can click on “WordArt”. *You can change your font size and style under the “Home” tab.

  4. Saving your PowerPoint Start by opening up PowerPoint Click “file” then “save as” Find the PowerPoint file for your class Type in your namefor the file Click save Click “save” (little blue floppy disk) Often while working on your report.

  5. Preparing your slides • Click “New Slide” and click on “Blank” • 1st: Your Title Page: Type name of your • State and your name • 2nd: label a slide for each category. You • will need 19 total.
