Daily Strategies Good Practices During FCAT • Display a positive attitude with your child about the FCAT. • Get to bed early – A well rested brain achieves more. • Eat healthy – Growling tummies are distracting. • Reflect daily – Ask them how testing is going and celebrate their hard work. • Smile… a lot. It reduces stress.
Specific FCAT Preparation • Use sample questions/tests from various resources. The best way to prepare for test questions is to see the type of questions before taking the test . • Contact your teacher for specifics on where your child has difficulty. • Talk to them now about what they are doing in school to prepare.
