Triple P Step by Step • Step 1 Case Building • The introduction about Triple P is done; now it is time for action! • Choose in your casegroup the most significant P subject your group is going to work on in your case-study • Step 2 Case building • Search the, take pictures, interview stakeholders on the venue or make a video clip concerning that P.

Triple P Step by Step • Step 3 Case building • Look for a representative of the local authority related to the case and relevant representatives from businesses that are directly related with your case. Write down their names, phone numbers and why you think they are related to your spot. With this representatives you might cooperate in this P project later on and in your research. • Step 4 Case Building • Take pictures or video clips concerning the detailed sustainable issues related to the principle P of your case.

Triple P Step by Step • Step 5 Problem identification • Analyze the pictures/clips in your group (initiative) according the future and think of actions to be taken to improve the principle P in such a way that the others P are taken into consideration. • Invite the local authority member and ask him or her also to analyze the pictures and find out if she or he sees a problem/challange as well and find out what he or she likes to improve and analyze the kind of P he/she likes to improve (broadening). Write all the facts down. • Together with this extern partner and her or his answer for the future you discuss the necessity to invite an other stakeholder from businesses of from somebody else who is involved in the case. If you have found him or her repeat step b.

Triple P Step by Step • Step 6 Solution building • Take pictures or video clips concerning the detailed sustainable issues related to the principle P of your case. • Define with all your partners in the case group improvement that fits for all the stakeholders and try to define a solution(s) that fits for the 2 remaining P’s • Step 7 Information gathering • Substantiate, together with the local authority member and your casegroup members, your P solution/actions in clear words and decorate it with images, short text and music.

  12. Triple P Step by Step • Step 8 Evaluation • Check your solution with all the stakeholders (even if one of them is not invited for solution building). If one of them has a problem with the solution try to solve together. • Step 9 Communication • Publish your triple P clip in English on www.youngstersinthedriversseat.eu. • Prepare your presentation as clear and attractive as possible. • Step 10 • Good luck and have fun with your presentation to the local authority and other stakeholders!

  13. Young Reporters • Young Reporters change education from • bookwise to worldwise • pupils cooperate with local authorities, companies and experts in their triple P research • they exchange their research results with other schools in Europe on their Young Reporter Website

Targetgroups • pupils(secondary schools, age 15-19)and teachers(primary schools, secondary schools and vocational training schools) • will learn how they can be an active participant in local sustainable development • teachers and headmasters/schoolmanagers • will learn about education for sustainable development (ESD) methods involving partnership and participation in real local sustainability issues • local partners (local authorities or other actors) • will learn about partnering with youths and schools to create sustainable development in their communities

  19. General program • Day 1 - Sunday Feb 7th • arrival of international participants • teacher workshop about Tripple P and MGA related to other tools in Europe • dinner • continuing workshop for teachers

General program • Day 2 - Monday Feb 8th / part I AM • arrival of national participants • welcome drink in the Province House • logbook instruction for teachers • formal opening of the conference with young Dutch keynote speakers + international guest speaker • lunch and social meeting in 20-mixed group of pupils, teachers, Support members and local authority members: sharing class experiences on sustainable development

  21. General program • Day 2 - Monday Feb 8th / part II PM • orientational visits to the 20 local cases • briefing from case-stakeholder about the cases and the concept (Triple P and MGA). • dinner hosted by the local cases • debriefing for teachers and logbook report

  22. General program • Day 3 - Tuesday Feb 9th • full day visit to the local cases • during the day some time-outs • lunch hosted by the local case • early evening: final presentations to the local authorities and dinner • debriefing for teachers and logbook report • Future Festival

General program • Day 4 - Wednesday feb 10th • get-together at a local school: pupils and teachers join in their own classes for reflection and future steps back home (local authorities will have a classmeeting as well) • lunch: roundtable with pupils reflecting on 5 issues related to the Support project targets and related to national Future debats • formal closure of the conference (general part) with special event-movie • teacher workshop: sustainable development tools in education • excursion for the pupils • cultural evening program
