Accreditation Campus Health is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, Inc First to be accredited in College Health.
Care provided by licensed: • Physicians (many board certified) • Nurse Practitioners • Nurses • Psychologists • Other licensed health care individuals
Campus Health Services: • Not entirely covered by a student’s tuition • CHS keeps administrative costs low by choosing not to bill most insurance carriers • CHS can bill the student’s UA bursars account • Itemized bills can be obtained from the CHS business office to submit to your insurance carrier
Payment Options: • Fee for service – normally lower than in the community • Campus Care Option – limited to services within the health center, good choice for students with indemnity, HMO or PPO plans • Student Health Insurance – eligible UA students, CHS is primary care provider, offers medical, mental health, emergency coverage, inpatient and specialty care
