Activities of the UAB Research Park • Key Elements for the Research Park strategy: • Support to the knowledge society through knowledge and tech transfer • Create, offer and manage services to users • Articulate the connection with the productive sectors in our milieu • Participate in specific calls for funds and projects • Articulate a consultative Business Forum for the UAB • Making the UAB and Esfera UAB’s technology and knowledge transfer more visible and efficient • Park Users: • UAB (Own centres and institutes) • Other Public Research Organisations (CSIC, IRTA, etc.) • Administration (DURSI, CIDEM, Ajuntament de Barcelona, etc.) • Enterprises: • Spin-off activity (e.g., V3B) • through specific projects (e.g., EUREKA I) • through fully-owned or collaborative research centres (e.g., MATGAS)
