  2. What Worked Well • SURPLUS GIZMOS • Near by supply store (good prices and very student friendly). • Teammates all lived in a close proximity • Weekly communication with senior design professor University of Portland School of Engineering

  3. What Went Wrong • How we scaled the project • Needed to get specific • Should have “aimed” project at an advisor • Caused a lack of guidance for the team • Unfamiliar topic • Bad combo with the previous issue University of Portland School of Engineering

  4. Recommendations • Stay away from analog projects • Digital projects = MOSIS chips =  happy • Choose the scope of your project wisely • Be prepared with a backup or two or three... • Stay on top of documentation • Be flexible and respectful • Don’t be fixed on what works best for you • Don’t bring an attitude/moodiness to meetings University of Portland School of Engineering
