Aeroacoustic Models for Environmental Noise Reduction by Vehicles

This project aims to propose and test models to approximate and solve the aerodynamic sound generated by vehicles, with the objective of reducing environmental impact. The project utilizes algorithms based on Lighthill's acoustic analogy, stabilized FEM for incompressible flows, and efficient Fourier transform of the sound source. The results include the acoustic response of both a train and a wing.
