Marxism/Communism Key People- Karl Marx Lenin Leon Trotsky Stalin Mao Zedong Frankfurt School Definition- It was the belief of three different aspects: dialectical, capitalism and proletarian revolutions. It could most notably be characterized by public ownership of all things. This would prevent the rise and falls of capitalism and the revolutions from private property.

Focuses on the relation of production, technology, inventions, natural resources and property systems. These create the religions, philosophies, governments, laws and moral values. Philosophical base of Marxism.

  3. Opportunism Not many key people, artworks, etc. in opportunism. One figure though is Leon Gambetta of France’s Third Republic. Definition- Was the tendency of working people to better themselves by dealing with employers and by obtaining legislation through existing government channels. In other words, it’s the policy of taking selfish advantage of circumstances with little regard for principles.
