Welcome to Mayflower Open to God Open to All
Call to Worship Albowiemtak Bog umilowalswiat, zeSynaswegojednorodzonego dal, abykazdy, kto wen wierzy, niezginal, ale mialzywotvieczny.
Call to Worship For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Singing the Faith 94 To God be the glory, great things he has done!
To God be the glory, great things he has done! So loved he the world that he gave us his Son, who yielded his life in atonement for sin, and opened the life-gate that all may go in:
Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord! Let the earth hear his voice! Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord! Let the people rejoice! O come to the Father, through Jesus the Son; and give him the glory – great things he has done!
O perfect redemption, the purchase of blood, to every believer the promise of God! And every offender who truly believes, that moment from Jesus a pardon receives:
Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord! Let the earth hear his voice! Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord! Let the people rejoice! O come to the Father, through Jesus the Son; and give him the glory – great things he has done!
Great things he has taught us, great things he has done, and great our rejoicing through Jesus the Son; but purer, and higher, and greater will be our wonder, our rapture, when Jesus we see:
Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord! Let the earth hear his voice! Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord! Let the people rejoice! O come to the Father, through Jesus the Son; and give him the glory – great things he has done! Frances Jane van A1styne (Fanny Crosby) (1820-1915)
Prayers Almighty God,to whom all hearts are open, all desires known, and from whom no secrets are hidden: cleanse the thoughts of our hearts by the inspiration of your Holy Spirit, that we may perfectly love you, and worthily magnify your holy Name; through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Prayers Let us confess our sins to God. Most merciful God, we confess that we have sinned against you in thought and word and deed. We have not loved you with our whole heart. We have not loved our neighbours as ourselves.
Prayers In your mercy, forgive what we have been, help us to amend what we are and direct what we shall he; that we may delight in your will and walk in your ways; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
Singing the Faith 498 God of all power, and truth, and grace
God of all power, and truth, and grace, which shall from age to age endure, whose word, when heaven and earth shall pass, remains and stands for ever sure;
That I your mercy may proclaim, that all the world your truth may see, hallow your great and glorious name, and perfect holiness in me.
Your sanctifying Spirit pour to quench my thirst and make me clean; now, Father, let the gracious shower descend, and make me pure from sin.
Give me a new, a perfect heart, free from all doubt and fear at last; the mind which was in Christ impart, and let my spirit hold you fast.
O that I now, from sin released, your word may to the utmost prove, enter into the promised rest, the Canaan of your perfect love!
Now let me gain perfection's height, now let me into nothing fall, be less than nothing in your sight, and feel that Christ is all in all. Charles Wesley (1707-1788)
Good News Bible Acts 11: 1 - 18
1 The apostles and the other believers throughout Judea heard that the Gentiles also had received the word of God. Peter’s Report to the Church of Jerusalem
2 When Peter went to Jerusalem, those who were in favour of circumcising Gentiles criticized him, saying,3 “You were a guest in the home of uncircumcised Gentiles, and you even ate with them!” Peter’s Report to the Church of Jerusalem
4 So Peter gave them a complete account of what had happened from the very beginning: Peter’s Report to the Church of Jerusalem
5 “While I was praying in the city of Joppa, I had a vision. I saw something coming down that looked like a large sheet being lowered by its four corners from heaven, and it stopped next to me. Peter’s Report to the Church of Jerusalem
6 I looked closely inside and saw domesticated and wild animals, reptiles, and wild birds.7 Then I heard a voice saying to me, ‘Get up, Peter; kill and eat!’ Peter’s Report to the Church of Jerusalem
8 But I said, ‘Certainly not, Lord! No ritually unclean or defiled food has ever entered my mouth.’9 The voice spoke again from heaven, ‘Do not consider anything unclean that God has declared clean.’ Peter’s Report to the Church of Jerusalem
10 This happened three times, and finally the whole thing was drawn back up into heaven.11 At that very moment three men who had been sent to me from Caesarea arrived at the house where I was staying. Peter’s Report to the Church of Jerusalem
12 The Spirit told me to go with them without hesitation. These six fellow-believers from Joppa accompanied me to Caesarea, and we all went into the house of Cornelius. Peter’s Report to the Church of Jerusalem
13 He told us how he had seen an angel standing in his house, who said to him, ‘Send someone to Joppa for a man whose full name is Simon Peter.14 He will speak words to you by which you and all your family will be saved.’ Peter’s Report to the Church of Jerusalem
15 And when I began to speak, the Holy Spirit came down on them just as on us at the beginning.16 Then I remembered what the Lord had said: ‘John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.’ Peter’s Report to the Church of Jerusalem
17 It is clear that God gave those Gentiles the same gift that he gave us when we believed in the Lord Jesus Christ; who was I, then, to try to stop God!” Peter’s Report to the Church of Jerusalem
18 When they heard this, they stopped their criticism and praised God, saying, “Then God has given to the Gentiles also the opportunity to repent and live!” Peter’s Report to the Church of Jerusalem
Good News Bible Matthew 15: 21 - 28
21 Jesus left that place and went off to the territory near the cities of Tyre and Sidon.22 A Canaanite woman who lived in that region came to him. “Son of David!” she cried out. “Have mercy on me, sir! My daughter has a demon and is in a terrible condition.” A Woman’s Faith
23 But Jesus did not say a word to her. His disciples came to him and begged him, “Send her away! She is following us and making all this noise!”24 Then Jesus replied, “I have been sent only to the lost sheep of the people of Israel.” A Woman’s Faith
25 At this the woman came and fell at his feet. “Help me, sir!” she said.26 Jesus answered, “It isn't right to take the children's food and throw it to the dogs.”27 “That's true, sir,” she answered; “but even the dogs eat the leftovers that fall from their masters' table.” A Woman’s Faith
28 So Jesus answered her, “You are a woman of great faith! What you want will be done for you.” And at that very moment her daughter was healed. A Woman’s Faith
