  1. PMI – Roman Cities Objective: After watching the movie you have identified many Roman innovations, problems and legacies. With this information you are to work with your group and identify a problem that Rome had that you think they could have solved using their innovations. You must also identify one of Rome’s legacies that would be used to solve the problem as well.

  2. Step 1 • Brainstorm the problems you noted in your PMI packet that Rome had • Agree on which problem your group can solve • See me or TA for help • Write a description of the problem and where it occurred in Rome. • Finish by Monday

  3. Step 2 • Identify the innovations Rome had that could have prevented or helped solve the problem you are describing. • Describe each innovation and how it could help or solve the problem *check vocabulary matching for clues* • Seek help from me or TA • Draw or find a picture of these innovations and show how it would solve the problem • Finish by Tuesday

  4. Step 3 • Identify one of Rome’s legacies that helped solve the problem you found in Rome • Write how Rome should have used this to stop or solve this problem • See me or TA for help • *check vocabulary terms for clues for both innovations and legacies!! • Finish by Wednesday

  5. Step 4 • Combine all your information into a presentation. • It could be a power point or prezi • Chose which end product works best for you • Collaborate and get it done! • Finish by Friday **save on someone’s H drive-no flash drives! You should save on more than one person’s H drive JIC, tell me by end or class on Friday whose H drive it saved on. • Due Monday (no class time given on Monday)
