About Me! • Earned my BA in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Kinesiology at California State University, San Bernardino • Earned my Teaching Credential at National University • Earned my Masters in Education specializing in Cross Cultural Teaching from National University • Involved in Education for seven years; second year teaching fifth grade. Long term positionsat Discovery Elementary & San Marcos Elementary • Married, live in Escondido
Daily Routine 8:45 - 9:15 Writing/Silent Reading 9:15 - 10:55 Reading Groups 10:55 – 11:15 Recess11:15 – 12:30 Math12:30 – 1:15 Lunch1:15 – 3:00 Social Studies/Science3:00 – 3:10 Clean up *Wordly Wise
During the Week • Library with Mrs. Miller on Wednesday • P.E. on Mondays and Thursdays (and every other Wednesday) • Fridays we have Flag Salute twice a month
Homework • Assigned nightly; recorded in Binder Reminder • Reading • Math • Monthly book reports will be done in class • Goal is to earn 10 AR Points

Writing • Informative Writing : select a focus to examine and convey ideas and information • Narrative Writing: fictional, autobiographical; describing an experience • Opinion Writing: select topics and support point of view with reasons and information
