  3. Aim Develop sector specific language trainings - food processing industry - metallurgical industry

  4. Result 12 CD-Roms with the following characteristics: • 6 CD-Roms for food and 6 for metal • 2 x 6 target languages (Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Spanish) • Levels: A2 and B1 (European Language Portfolio, made by Common European Framework of Reference)

  5. Result Method/didactics: • realistic communication situations • typical sentences and standard expressions • sector-specific vocabulary • +/- 400 words per sector • glossary • clicking on word: correct pronunciation • exercises with auto-correction and remediation exercises

Working package 1 (01/11/2003 – 30/04/2004) • Kick-off meeting Brugge, November 2003 • Database with vocabulary - technical: UK - start with content: B - complete content: 6 national working groups • Suggestion of realistic situations: 5 national working groups (B, AU, IT, FR, SP) • Transnational meeting Bologna, March 2004 - Consensus vocabulary - Consensus structure of CD-Rom - Presentation + consensus types of exercises

Working package 2 (01/05/2004 – 30/11/2004) • Translation of vocabulary: B, AU, IT, FR, SP • Elaboration of situations in English: UK • Translation of situations: B, AU, IT, FR, SP • Development structure and lay-out CD-Rom: UK • Preparation of exercises: B, AU, IT, FR, SP, UK • Transnational meeting Granada, October 2004 - Consensus structure and lay-out of CD-Rom - Elaborated situations in 6 languages - Consensus exercises
