  1. The following slides introduce how to set up a Personal Display with a FRONIUS IG inverter. Please note that each slide is provided with sound. Please switch on your loudspeakers and press any key to proceed. FRONIUS IG Display Simulation

  2. Turn off the AC and DC disconnect switches. • Remove the 4 screws on each corner of the face plate. 3. Remove the face plate. Take care to safely unplug the ribbon cable attaching the faceplate to the inverter. FRONIUS IG Display Simulation

  3. 4. Caution: Beware of static discharge. Only touch the Personal Display Card on the component-free side. Insert the card into the OPTION 1 or OPTION 2 slot. 5. Be sure that the card is securely plugged in the plug-and-play slot. FRONIUS IG Display Simulation

  4. 6. Connect the antenna cable plug into the Personal Display Card´s antenna port. • FRONIUS recommends • mounting the antenna with • the bracket on the • inverter as shown. FRONIUS IG Display Simulation

  5. 8. Connect the ribbon cable from the faceplate to the inverter. 9. Fix the faceplate to the inverter with the 4 corner screws. 10. Turn on the AC and DC disconnect switches. FRONIUS IG Display Simulation

  33. When the inverter is found, the Personal Display will automatically add the inverter to its catalogue. This is called the HANDSHAKE.
