Objectives for the Fit-Gap Process • Compare PeopleSoft functionality to current requirements. • Identify functionality that enables improvements to current processes. • Reach consensus and decisions on the features to be used. • Document current critical business practices and identify areas of shared ownership. • Capture potential future enhancements needed for on-going business needs. • Produce a finalized assessment (fit/gap) document.
Resources for the Fit-Gap Process • Business process owners • Staff who have knowledge of business requirements for campus / division • Able to examine business processes for improvement opportunities • Able to focus on the whole and think in terms of what is good for the entire system
