We Do Not Believe Limited Atonement Is True • Limited Atonement-“Means that Christ’s reconciling act, though adequate for all humankind, is beneficial only for the elect. Those who have not been chosen by God may be edified by the example of Christ, but they will not be saved by His work.” • (Presbyterians, Their History and Beliefs, Walter Lingle, p.36)
We Do Not Believe Limited Atonement Is True • “God calls humans beings (or at least some humans) to a special relationship and destiny.” (ibid. p. 103) • “Double predestination is the conviction that if God actively chooses some people, he therefore must choose not to choose some others. ( ibid. p.103)
We Believe God Shows No Partiality • Acts 10:34-35 • Then Peter opened his mouth and said: "In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality. 35 But in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him.
We Believe God Desires All Men To Be Saved • 1 Timothy 2:3-4 • For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

We Do Not Believe Irresistible Grace Is True • Irresistible Grace-“Means that when God undertakes to save a person by his grace or umerited favor, that grace is invincible. Even in making every effort, a person could not refuse it. Therefore no credit should be due for accepting it.” • (Presbyterians, Their History and Beliefs, Walter Lingle, p. 36)
