  2. What Is An Elasmosaurus? • Elasmosaurus was a reptile but not a dinosaur. • Its name meant thin plate lizard. • It had a super long neck and a extra toe! • They lived in what is now the USA.

  3. Elasmosaurus Characteristics. • Elasmosaurus was as long and as wide as a bus! • They had 46 feet long neck! • They swam slowly through the sea. • Elasmosaurus was a majestic animal.

  4. Where Did Elasmosaurus Live? • They lived in what is now the USA. • Most of them lived in Kansas! • They lived in the cretaceous time that means they lived 85 million years ago.

  5. The Myth. • Some people thought that Elasmosaurus would eat people off their ship and do terrible things to them. • They thought it would sink the ship. • They named them the loch ness monster. • I believe that it was just a stick. some photos could be photo shopped

  6. What Elasmosaurus Ate. • Elasmosaurus ate shrimp and other small fish. • The fish could not escape and it only had six teeth! • They swallow their food whole. • They use their long neck to catch them. this is shrimp Elasmosaurus ate them
