The origin of Thanksgiving. 萬聖節的由來. In 1620, Pilgrims from England took a ship called Mayflower to America. The first winter came. It was very cold. The Pilgrims didn’t have enough food and clothes. Indians came and helped the Pilgrims.

  2. In 1620, Pilgrims from England took a ship called Mayflower to America.

  3. The first winter came. It was very cold. The Pilgrims didn’t have enough food and clothes.

  4. Indians came and helped the Pilgrims.

  5. They showed the Pilgrims how to plant corns and hunt the turkeys.

  6. The Pilgrims were very thankful for the things they had. They invited the Indians to join their big dinner. This was the first Thanksgiving.
