  3. Amphibians Amphibians are cold blooded. Amphibians do not have hair. Amphibians metamorphoses or change rapidly from one stage to another. When Amphibians are young, they live underwater with gills. Amphibians have moist smooth skin. For example, a frog metamorphoses from a tadpole into a frog. When Amphibians mature, they develop lungs and can live in or out of water. Amphibians do not have scales.
