  10. 2014 in summary 2014 to me was a crazy roller coaster ride . I feel like I have matured more in 2014 than in any other year. In 2014, I got my first part time job as well as my driver’s license. In terms of school, I also feel I have made a lot of improvements. I started to think about what I wanted to do in the future, and how I was going to achieve this goal. I have since decided I’m going to go to university in British Columbia and pursue a career with computers. Some points that stood out to me in 2014 was the music industry and the fashion. I feel the music industry has really become overly sexualized. It seems like all the songs coming out today are about butts, sex, and drugs. Also I feel the lyrics in our songs have no meaning these days, For example: songs like Nicki Minaj – Anaconda , Jennifer Lawrence – Booty, Trey Songz - NaNa just to list a few. Another trend I've been noticing is the change in the way people view odd fashion styles, such as stretched ears, tattoo sleeves, and nose piercings. I feel like though there not completely accept, they have diffidently become more accepted.
