About PGS 350 • PGS 350 is also known as Social Psychology. • Social Psychology is a course that covers human social behavior, including such concepts as aggression, attraction, attribution, conformity, groups, helping, person perception, and persuasion.
About Social Psychology • The formal definition of Social Psychology is, “the scientific study of the way in which people’s thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are influenced by the real or imagined presence of others.”
About the Professor • Deborah L. Hall is an assistant professor of psychology in the Division of Social and Behavioral Sciences at Arizona State University’s New College of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences. She received a B.A. in psychology from Claremont McKenna College in 2002 and her Ph.D. in social psychology from Duke University in 2010.
