  4. IBIQ • What is IBIQ? • An application on the Interstate Connections (ICON) network. • What information does it have? • States’ wage and claim information.

  5. IBIQ • How often is it updated? • Nightly! • How many states have it? • All states have access to it. • How does it work? • Let’s look at the following screens!

  6. IBIQ Request Screen • Type in SSN and up to 5 states • ID, CA, etc.

  7. IBIQ Status Screen • Type an “S” then hit enter key.

  8. IBIQ Claimant Screen • Displays: • Address • Claim info • Payment info • Press F8 to move to next screen.

  9. IBIQ Employer Screen • Displays: • Employers • 6 quarters of wages • Type “S” in option field to view employer detail.

  10. IBIQ Individual Employer Screen • Displays: • Employer’s address • Employer’s wages • Press F8 to get to additional State Help Screen

  13. SID Questions • What is SID? • How often is it updated? • How many states have it? • How does it work? • Why don’t SID and IBIQ match? • What can states do to make better use of SID?

  14. SID • What is SID? • An application on the ICON network. • It allows a state to know which states have wages for a particular SSN. • A state can participate only if it sends in a quarterly Distributive Data Base Index (DDBI) file. • How often is it updated? • Quarterly.

  15. SID • How many states have it? • 37 states are in production. AK, AL, AZ, AR, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, ID, IA, KS, KY, MD, MI, MN, MS, MO, MT, NE, NV, NH, NJ, NM, OR, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VT, VA, WV, WI, WY • One state is testing SID (Indiana). • How does it work? • Let’s take a gander at the following screens.

  18. SID • Why don’t SID and IBIQ match? • SID queries the UI DDBI, which is updated quarterly. • IBIQ goes against states’ current wage/claim information, which is updated nightly. • What can states do to make better use of SID? • It is possible to integrate SID into initial claims process!
