The Future of Engineering in India Where engineering is considered among the top professions in India, the job and profile it offers are also responsible to bring immense change and development in the country. In the financial year 2021-22, India achieved many things that have not happened in the past couple of years, and all this when we are still under the influence of the pandemic. Where engineering is considered among the top professions in India, the job and profile it offers are also responsible to bring immense change and development in the country. In the financial year 2021-22, India achieved many things that have not happened in the past couple of years, and all this when we are still under the influence of the pandemic. To our surprise, India made its place in the TOP 10 Exporting Countries List across the globe with over a sum of USD 670 Billion. You will be awestruck to know about the sector that helped reach this level! It is Engineering Goods. India’s high technologies, precisely done manufacturing of engineering goods were crucially demanded, from China to the USA and from the Netherlands to Belgium. And out of the sum of USD 670 Billion, USD 400 Billion came from merchandising exports, and over USD 270 Billion came from services. All this happened when we were busy questioning the economy of the country.

This no. made us reach 50% of a mere 16% of total household coverage in just 2.2 years. · India is entering the list of manufacturing experts around the globe, and we were able to move up to the No. 2 position by replacing the USA. · We have made the highest solar installation touching over 12 GW and crossing 50 GW in total. · We are a speeding nation in terms of highway construction, where regularly we construct an average of 38 Km. · The most-famous Indira Gandhi International Airport replaced Dubai Airport and grabbed 2nd position to become the busiest airport in March 2022. · India was also able to improvise its position in the Innovation Index. · And most importantly, India became the first nation to invent the most effective and indigenous vaccine to fight all the odds of the Covid19 pandemic. India has become a Hub of Startups India has become a Hub of Startups Today we have over 100 unicorns and over 60,000 startups in India that deal with rising issues of the nation and some offer general products & services. Among these, 10,000+ have been established in the last year. Across the world, India has emerged as the second-largest startup hub. And all this has been achieved majorly with the help of students from various IITs. Recently, the launch of 5G by IITians has made news globally and is being appreciated as well. Also, not to forget that youth today are being educated in an environment that readies them to be the best version of themself. They work toward the country's welfare and resolve issues that have been under wraps for many years. Behind all these are the brilliant minds of IITs, NITs, IIITs, etc.
