SEPTA Mission:

SEPTAs help meet our needs by bringing together people who have an interest in special education and providing a forum for them to share their experiences and learn from others experiences SEPTA Mission: To provide vital information and support to parents through forums, discussion groups and workshops in order to enhance parent's efforts to maximize the potential of their children To train parents to be partners in education through networking opportunities with teachers, educators and other professionals To create a mutually supportive environment for parents of both younger and older special education students to share experiences, resources and expertise Benefits of a SEPTA: Create a community for“like-minded” people Create an environment of acceptance Create a collaborative relationship with the parents, administration and school staff Provide a solid support system for parents and schools Provide a platform for sharing of lessons learned, useful strategies, and community resources in one place NOW FORMING!
