Emotional Well-being • What is emotional wellbeing? • Wellbeing is both central to learning and an outcome • of learning. It is multidimensional and characterised by • feeling well and functioning well.

Optimising Wellbeing Optimisingwellbeing within the school context requires a whole-school approach that covers practices in four domains: 1. Learning environment: Safe, secure, encouraging and enriching environment 2. Curriculum and pedagogy: recognise strengths, identify needs and provide extended opportunities to challenge all learners at all levels
