Attendance Matters. Update on Attendance League and countdown to the end of the academic year. Something to think about. Only 14 college days to go to the end of the academic year!! Only 4 college days for yr 10 as they have 2 weeks work experience!!

  1. Attendance Matters Update on Attendance League and countdown to the end of the academic year.....

  2. Something to think about.............. • Only 14 college days to go to the end of the academic year!! • Only 4college days for yr 10 as they have 2 weeks work experience!! • What is your % attendance so far this year? • How is your PD group doing?

  3. Year Groups Attendance Yr 11 - 91.7% Yr 10 - 92.8% Yr 9 - 93.1% Yr8 - 93.5% Yr7 - 93.5% Total Attendance 92.9%

  4. Year 11 14 students still on 100%94 students on 95% or more • This has traditionally been a poor half term for yr11 attendance • This is probably one of the most important half terms as it will be the last chance to get input from staff with revision etc. • You need to keep attendance high for college applications/apprenticeships etc • You can never get this time back and ( no matter how you feel now) you will miss college when you leave

  5. Yr 1016 students still on 100%109 students on 95% or more • Work experience is a really important time for you and will possibly help in decision – making for your future • Use the time well and do you best as a good work experience report will be valuable to you for college/job interviews • Use your remaining time in college to boost your attendance in preparation for your final year at Unity college

  6. Yr 921 students still on 100%119 students on 95% or more • While your attendance has been good this year there is still room for improvement • You are moving in to Upper school and beginning very different courses. Good attendance in Upper school will boost your chances of exam success • Make sure you finish your lower school with the best possible attendance.

  7. Yr811 students still on 100%122 students on 955 or more • The best year attendance in the whole college so far. But still time to pull away and increase your lead over the others • Don’t let it slip and make sure we get a record number of yr 8 students in the 100% draw this half term

Yr718 students still on 100%115 students still on 95% or more • A disappointing year this year as yr 7 are usually streets ahead of the others year groups • Still time to make it better and push yr8 in to second place • Last few weeks as the youngest students and soon time to move in to your new PD groups – will you be able to help your new group win the Attendance League Cup?

  9. Who are best – Girls or Boys???? • Yr 11 - Girls 90.2% Boys 92.9% BOYS WIN!! • Yr 10 - Girls 92.1% Boys 93.3% BOYS WIN!! • Yr 9 - Girls 92.8% Boys 93.2% BOYS WIN!! • Yr 8 - Girls 93.4% Boys 93.7% BOYS WIN!! • Yr 7 - Girls 93.8% Boys 93.2% GIRLS WIN!!
