Looking Forward • Single Laptop Program • Update aging desktop/laptop Hardware • Reduce costs: Desktop, laptop, remote desktop server hardware • Initial tests show some software will not run on Windows 7 so we are looking at minimal updates to tide us over while working on TM NG • Upgrade to a modern, more secure operating system and configuration • Reduce “Baseline” configurations and further lock down administrative rights • Data.gov and Google • eLearning • Public Search Facility reduction of hours
