What • Kim Jong-Il was seen healthy • In August, it was suspected that he had a stroke • Has a full head of hair and lost little weight • Pictures of him watching a soccer match over the weekend • Last month, more pictures came of him watching another soccer match and inspecting female soldiers • The pictures are undated and suspected to be taken months before his stroke • Suspected to have brain surgery

  4. When • November 5th • Pictures of him inspecting 2 army facilities • November 1st or 2nd • Watching a soccer game • October • Out twice: • Watching another soccer match • Inspecting female soldiers

  5. Where • North Korea

  6. Why • It is newsworthy because previous to this, South had been worried because if Kim Jong-Il died, then North would be in anarchy, and the new leader would be in charge of a massive army • Kim had little competition, making his death even worse

  7. How • If he did die, there may have been a change in the government; may no longer be a communist state • I had many opinions • Relieved: If a new leader did appear, then the new leader may abuse his power and deploy the army or commence in the Korean War again • Disappointed: North Korea’s new leader may bring change to the making of nuclear weapons
